Healthcare is complex and there are many issues where a cross-specialty perspective is needed. It is our job to collate our member’s views, and coordinate activities so that we can collectively influence and shape healthcare across the four nations of the UK. Association for Palliative Medicine
The APM represent our members, to ensure that their voice is heard and that members are represented in all areas relative to Palliative Medicine practice (e.g. legal, political, training, economic and workforce), as well as many other issues, including continually changing topical national debates and important matters such as assisted dying, palliative care funding, clinical nutrition and hydration, assisted ventilation and Palliative Medicine Training.

elearning for healthcare was formed in April 2007 to deliver a range of programmes, after a successful pilot with the Radiology-Integrated Training Initiative (R-ITI) which generated a model for the future delivery of generic and professional healthcare training. In 2013, elfh transitioned across to Health Education England and continues to work in partnership to develop elearning programmes to support the health and care workforce.
