An interactive learning resource for dermatologists
e-dermatology provides interactive training in skin health and disease. It is primarily aimed at trainee dermatologists but it is also invaluable for general practitioners, nurses and other healthcare professionals. The package has been developed by the British Association of Dermatologists and Health Education England e-Learning for Healthcare.
Online training for dermatologists
e-dermatology covers all the main areas of dermatology such as skin cancer, acne, eczema and some tropical dermatology. The sessions feature interactive elements, such as photos, case studies and self-assessment exercises, to reinforce learning and understanding. Using scenario-based exercises, you can review how to take a dermatological history, identify the right questions to ask and make a diagnosis in a virtual consulting room.
High-quality images are used to show diseases in all stages of their development. This gives you a more rounded understanding of the range of clinical presentations and experience in diagnosing a wide variety of conditions.
e-dermatology is available 24/7 via the Internet so you can fit the training around your busy work schedule.
