eIntegrity’s End of Life Care for All (e-ELCA) programme will be showcased at the World Congress of the European Association for Palliative Care (EAPC) in Madrid, Spain from 18 to 20 May. The EAPC World Congress brings together clinicians, researchers and educators from across the world to discuss the latest advances in palliative care and to share best practice.
Representatives from the Association for Palliative Medicine of Great Britain and Ireland (APM), which has developed the programme with NHS England, will be displaying a poster on e-ELCA in the exhibition area and answering questions from delegates.
For the duration of the event, delegates will also have the chance to save 50% on the cost of the programme.
Professor Christina Faull, Clinical Lead for e-ELCA, said: “This event gives us a great opportunity to showcase this world-class programme, which is suitable for all health and social care professionals. “The content has been written by leading experts from the field of palliative care so it meets the highest quality standards. Furthermore, as a learner, you can access e-ELCA online and study wherever and whenever you choose. So, you can fit the training around your busy working life.”
She added: “The programme is already widely used by health and social care professionals in the UK and it is now available globally.” e-ELCA includes over 150 learning sessions that cover all aspects of end-of-life care, such as assessment, advance care planning, communication, symptom management, bereavement and spirituality. The material includes videos and real-life case studies that tackle the challenging issues involved. A growing number of sessions specifically support specialist practice in palliative care.
