e-Learning for Healthcare
e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) is a project run by Health Education England. It is responsible for delivering high-quality e-learning to the health and social care workforce in the UK. This e-learning has been developed in partnership with the NHS, the UK’s medical royal colleges and other professional bodies. Many e-LfH programmes are now available globally through eIntegrity.
Health Education England (HEE)
Health Education England (HEE) is an arm’s length body of the Department of Health and Social Care. It is responsible for the education and training of all staff working in the NHS.
Royal colleges (e.g. the Royal College of Anaesthetists)
These colleges are responsible for setting standards within their respective fields in the UK and for supervising the training of doctors within those specialties. The UK's medical royal colleges have been closely involved in developing the healthcare training licensed by eIntegrity.
Other professional bodies
Many other leading professional bodies, such as the College of Radiographers and the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine, have also been involved in developing eIntegrity's healthcare training. These organisations have similar roles and responsibilities to the royal colleges.
