On 21 and 22 March, Richard Bryant, eIntegrity’s Strategy and Business Advisor, will be showcasing the company’s e-learning during a UK Government trade mission to Qatar.
Organised by the Department for International Trade, the trade mission will explore ways in which the UK can support Qatar in advancing healthcare education, research and development. This is part of Qatar’s plan to create a world-class public healthcare system, as part of its 2030 National Vision.
Alongside eIntegrity, delegates will include key representatives from UK universities, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare organisations and Public Health England.
Following a briefing at the British Embassy, delegates will meet with representatives from the Ministry of Public Health, the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and leading healthcare providers. They will also visit the Al-Ahli Hospital to find out more about some of the challenges facing healthcare professionals in Qatar.
Richard Bryant said: “This visit represents a fantastic opportunity to promote the value of eIntegrity’s e-learning to senior figures in the Qatar business community, healthcare sector and national government.
“Our e-learning could have valuable applications in many healthcare areas that are important in Qatar, including family medicine, child health and medical image interpretation. Indeed, our dentistry programme has already been used by the country’s Primary Health Care Corporation and we would like to explore further collaborations.
“We very much look forward to the visit and finding out how we can support healthcare professionals in Qatar with both training and professional development.”
