A total of 10 new sessions have been added to the Image Interpretation programme thanks to development funding from eIntegrity.

As we reported in August 2018, eIntegrity’s Board committed £50,000 towards further development of two programmes – e-Learning for General Practitioners (e-GP) and Image Interpretation. This included 10 new orthopaedic post-operative sessions for Image Interpretation, which were launched ahead of schedule over the summer (see our related news story).

Since launch, more than 700 learners worldwide have accessed the new orthopaedic materials and given the sessions an average score of 4.9 out of 5 – reflecting the high calibre of the content. Across the world, the programme is used in more than 20 countries – with 6000 registered learners currently.

Dorothy Keane, Clinical Lead for Image Interpretation, said: “These new sessions are a valuable addition to the programme and provide vital support for radiographers who are being asked to report increasingly complex images. We are extremely grateful to eIntegrity for giving us the opportunity to produce these sessions.”

Patrick Mitchell, eIntegrity Chairman, said: “We are delighted to have supported this development work.

“eIntegrity exists to make the UK’s high-quality e-learning available to a global audience – via annual licences. We are also committed to investing the associated profits back into developing the e-learning further, ensuring that the content reflects the latest clinical best practice and benefits all healthcare professionals around the world.”
