Launch of a new international certificate in sexual and reproductive healthcare

Developed by the UK’s Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH), the International Certificate of Knowledge (ICK) complements the existing e-Learning for Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare programme (e-SRH) – which has been highly rated by eIntegrity learners.

The new package, which costs just £150, offers:

  • access to award-winning SRH content tailored to international learners
  • an online knowledge assessment
  • affiliate membership of the FSRH for one year (with access to standards and guidance, webinars, the FSRH quarterly journal, news updates, the women’s health library and more)

The content covers topics such as contraception, sexually transmitted infections and early pregnancy assessment. It also includes additional content from the Adolescent Health programme and the full Female Genital Mutilation e-learning programme.

Learners who pass the assessment (with 80% or more) can print off a certificate as evidence of their learning. This is inscribed with the logo of the FSRH, which is the largest UK professional membership organisation in the field and part of the internationally renowned Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Jane Hatfield, Chief Executive of the FSRH, said: “We’re seeing an ever-growing need for specialist sexual and reproductive healthcare services in the UK and globally.”

“In the coming years, we will therefore need increasing numbers of appropriately trained healthcare professionals. This new International Certificate of Knowledge, developed by leading clinicians from the FSRH, provides quality assured, certificated learning to help meet that need.”

“With Affiliate membership of the FSRH, learners can also join a community of 15,000 SRH professionals and access a whole raft of learning resources and information.”

Jane concludes: “The package offers truly exceptional value – reflecting the FSRH’s commitment to making high-quality healthcare e-learning available to the widest possible audience globally.”
